She grew up in a family of musicians, with her mother being a pianist and her father a cellist. From a young age, Alice showed a natural talent for music and began taking piano lessons at the age of four. As Alice grew older, she began to explore other instruments and eventually settled on the violin as her primary focus. She began taking lessons with a local violin teacher and quickly progressed, winning her first competition at the age of eight. Alice continued to excel in music throughout her childhood and teenage years, participating in numerous competitions and performances. She was accepted into the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City, where she studied under renowned violinist Itzhak Perlman. During her time at Juilliard, Alice continued to hone her skills and gain recognition for her talent. She won several awards, including the Juilliard Concerto Competition and the Dorothy DeLay Scholarship. She also performed as a soloist with several orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. After graduating from Juilliard, Alice began her professional career as a soloist and chamber musician. She quickly gained a reputation for her technical skill and emotional depth in her performances.
