He then went on to pursue his Master's degree in Piano Performance at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, where he studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and pedagogue, Daniel Blumenthal. Throughout his studies, Erik demonstrated exceptional talent and dedication to his craft, earning numerous awards and accolades. In 1997, he won first prize in the International Piano Competition of Brest, France, and in 1998, he was awarded the prestigious Prix de la Ville de Bruxelles for his outstanding performance in the Queen Elisabeth Competition. Erik's talent and dedication to his craft continued to flourish, and he soon became a sought-after performer, both nationally and internationally. He has performed in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Philharmonie de Paris, and the Carnegie Hall in New York.
