Stephen Somary is a renowned classical music artist who has made significant contributions to the world of music as a conductor, pianist, and educator. Born in Zurich, Switzerland, on August 22, 1947, Somary showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. He went on to study at the Zurich Conservatory and later at the Juilliard School in New York City. Somary's career as a conductor began in the early 1970s when he was appointed as the assistant conductor of the Zurich Opera House. He quickly gained recognition for his talent and was soon invited to conduct orchestras in Europe and the United States.
