Arthur Jussen is a Dutch classical pianist who has gained international recognition for his virtuosic performances and musical sensitivity. Born on September 28, 1996, in Hilversum, Netherlands, Arthur grew up in a family of musicians. His father, Paul Jussen, is a pianist and his mother, Christianne van Gelder, is a violinist. Arthur's older brother, Lucas Jussen, is also a pianist, and the two brothers often perform together as a duo. He studied with Marjès Benoist at the Utrecht Conservatory, where he graduated with honors in 2014. Arthur has also studied with Maria João Pires, Menahem Pressler, and Ferenc Rados. One of Arthur's most memorable performances was his debut with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in 2011, when he performed Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 20 in D minor.
