Zia Richter-Sonnen was a renowned classical music artist who made a significant contribution to the world of music. Born on May 12, 1928, in Vienna, Austria, Zia was the daughter of a famous conductor and composer, Hans Richter. Her father's influence played a significant role in shaping her musical career. Zia's musical journey began at a young age when she started playing the piano. She showed exceptional talent and was soon enrolled in the Vienna Conservatory, where she studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and composer, Franz Schmidt. She made her debut performance at the age of 18, playing Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3 with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.
