Doris Lamprecht was born on May 12, 1985, in Vienna, Austria. She grew up in a family of musicians, with her mother being a pianist and her father a cellist. From a young age, Lamprecht showed a natural talent for music and began playing the violin at the age of four. Lamprecht's parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. She began taking private lessons with renowned violinists in Vienna and quickly gained recognition for her exceptional skills. At the age of 12, Lamprecht won first prize in the prestigious International Mozart Competition in Salzburg, Austria. This early success propelled Lamprecht's career forward, and she began performing regularly in concerts and recitals throughout Europe. She also began studying at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts, where she received a degree in violin performance.
