Sangyoung Kim is a classical music artist who has made a name for herself in the world of music. Born in South Korea, Kim showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of five. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue her passion for music. Kim's early years were spent studying music in South Korea. She attended the Seoul National University, where she earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance. She then went on to earn a Master of Music degree from the same institution. After completing her studies in South Korea, Kim decided to pursue further education in the United States. She was accepted into the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City, where she studied under the guidance of renowned pianist Emanuel Ax. In 2010, she won first prize in the New York International Piano Competition, which helped to launch her career as a professional musician.
