Born on April 11, 1969, in Berwyn, Illinois, Radvanovsky grew up in a musical family and began singing at a young age. She attended the University of Southern California and the University of California, Los Angeles, where she studied voice and opera. Radvanovsky's career began in the early 1990s when she won several prestigious vocal competitions, including the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions and the Richard Tucker Award. She made her professional debut in 1995 as the Countess in Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro" at the Santa Fe Opera. Her performance was widely praised, and she quickly became a sought-after soprano in the opera world. Over the years, Radvanovsky has performed in many of the world's leading opera houses, including the Metropolitan Opera, the Royal Opera House in London, the Paris Opera, and the Teatro alla Scala in Milan. She has sung a wide range of roles, from the bel canto heroines of Donizetti and Bellini to the dramatic roles of Verdi and Puccini. One of Radvanovsky's most notable performances was her portrayal of the three queens in Donizetti's "Tudor Trilogy" – Anne Boleyn, Mary Stuart, and Elizabeth I – at the Metropolitan Opera in 2016. The production was a critical and commercial success, and Radvanovsky's performance was widely praised for its vocal and dramatic intensity.
