Sondra Radvanovsky is a renowned American-Canadian soprano who has established herself as one of the leading opera singers of her generation. Born on April 11, 1969, in Berwyn, Illinois, Radvanovsky grew up in a musical family and began singing at a young age. She attended the University of Southern California and the University of California, Los Angeles, where she studied voice and opera. Radvanovsky's career began in the early 1990s when she won several prestigious vocal competitions, including the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions and the Richard Tucker Award. She made her professional debut in 1995 as the Countess in Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro" at the Santa Fe Opera.
