Boston Chorus Pro Musica is a classical music ensemble that has been entertaining audiences for over 50 years. Founded in 1965 by Alfred Nash Patterson, the group has become one of the most respected choral ensembles in the United States. The group has performed in some of the most prestigious venues in the country, including Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center. The ensemble is made up of approximately 100 singers, all of whom are volunteers. The group is led by Music Director and Conductor, Dr. Kevin Leong. The group has also collaborated with some of the most renowned orchestras in the country, including the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Handel and Haydn Society. One of the highlights of the group's history was their performance of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony in 1970. The performance was conducted by Leonard Bernstein and featured the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
