Born on October 17, 1984, in Luxembourg City, Krier showed an early aptitude for music and began piano lessons at the age of four. She quickly demonstrated a natural talent for the instrument and progressed rapidly, winning her first competition at the age of six. Krier continued her studies at the Conservatoire de Luxembourg, where she was mentored by renowned pianist and pedagogue Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden. She also studied with other distinguished teachers, including Paul Badura-Skoda, Maria João Pires, and Leon Fleisher. Krier's dedication and hard work paid off when she won the prestigious Prix Norbert Stelmes at the age of 16, which enabled her to study at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln in Germany.
