Maria Kontra is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact in the world of music. Born on May 12, 1985, in Vienna, Austria, Kontra showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Her parents, both musicians, recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Kontra's musical education began at the Vienna Conservatory, where she studied piano under the tutelage of renowned pianist and pedagogue, Professor Gerhard Oppitz. She later went on to study at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, where she received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in piano performance.
