Daniella Ganeva is a Bulgarian classical pianist who has gained international recognition for her exceptional talent and musicality. Born in Sofia, Bulgaria in 1992, Ganeva began playing the piano at the age of five and quickly showed a natural aptitude for the instrument. She began her formal training at the National School of Music "Lyubomir Pipkov" in Sofia, where she studied with renowned Bulgarian pianist and pedagogue, Prof. Milena Mollova. Ganeva's talent was evident from an early age, and she quickly began to make a name for herself in the Bulgarian music scene. In 2005, she won first prize at the National Piano Competition "Svetoslav Obretenov" in Provadia, Bulgaria, and in 2007, she won first prize at the National Piano Competition "Dimitar Nenov" in Razgrad, Bulgaria. These early successes paved the way for Ganeva's future career as a concert pianist. In 2008, Ganeva was accepted into the prestigious Hochschule für Musik und Theater München in Germany, where she studied with Prof. Michael Schäfer. During her time in Munich, Ganeva continued to hone her skills as a pianist and began to gain recognition on the international stage. In 2010, she won first prize at the International Piano Competition "Città di Barletta" in Italy, and in 2011, she was a finalist at the International Piano Competition "Premio Città di Imola" in Italy. Ganeva's success continued to grow, and she began to receive invitations to perform at major concert halls and festivals around the world. In 2012, she made her debut at the Berlin Philharmonic Hall, performing Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3 with the Berlin Symphony Orchestra. The performance was a resounding success, and Ganeva was praised for her technical skill and musicality. Since then, Ganeva has performed at some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including the Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Musikverein in Vienna. She has also been a featured soloist with many of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra. Ganeva's repertoire is wide-ranging, and she is equally at home performing works by classical masters such as Beethoven and Mozart as she is performing contemporary works by living composers. She has a particular affinity for the music of Bulgarian composers, and has performed works by Pancho Vladigerov, Dimitar Nenov, and Georgi Zlatev-Cherkin, among others. In addition to her busy performance schedule, Ganeva is also a dedicated teacher and mentor. She has given masterclasses at universities and conservatories around the world, and has served as a jury member for several international piano competitions. Throughout her career, Ganeva has received numerous awards and accolades for her exceptional talent and musicality. In 2013, she was awarded the "Young Musician of the Year" award by the Bulgarian National Radio, and in 2015, she was awarded the "Musician of the Year" award by the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture. Despite her many achievements, Ganeva remains humble and dedicated to her craft.
