Fairhaven Singers is a classical music choir based in Cambridge, England. The choir was founded in 1982 by Ralph Woodward, who served as its conductor until 2019. The choir has since been led by Ben Rowarth. The choir's name is derived from the Fairhaven Methodist Church in Cambridge, where the choir held its first rehearsals. The choir has since performed in various venues in Cambridge and beyond, including King's College Chapel, St John's College Chapel, and the Royal Albert Hall in London. Fairhaven Singers is known for its diverse repertoire, which includes works from the Renaissance to the present day. The choir has premiered works by contemporary composers such as John Rutter, Bob Chilcott, and Will Todd. One of the highlights of Fairhaven Singers' history was its performance at the Royal Albert Hall in 2011. The choir was invited to perform as part of the BBC Proms, a series of classical music concerts held annually in London.
