Salonorchester Cölln is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 1991 in Cologne, Germany. The group specializes in performing music from the Baroque and Classical periods, with a particular focus on the music of Johann Sebastian Bach. The ensemble was founded by the German violinist and conductor Konrad Junghänel, who remains its artistic director to this day. Junghänel had previously been a member of the influential early music ensemble Hesperion XX, and he brought his experience and expertise to Salonorchester Cölln.
