Born on May 12, 1985, in Sofia, Bulgaria, Julia showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of five. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue music as a career. Julia's early years were spent studying music at the National School of Music "Lyubomir Pipkov" in Sofia. She showed exceptional talent and was soon recognized as a prodigy. Her teachers were impressed with her ability to play complex pieces with ease and her natural musicality. In 2003, Julia was accepted into the National Academy of Music "Pancho Vladigerov" in Sofia, where she continued her studies under the guidance of renowned pianist and professor Milena Mollova. During her time at the academy, Julia honed her skills and developed her own unique style of playing. In 2007, Julia graduated from the National Academy of Music with a Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance. She then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Piano Performance at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, Austria. There, she studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and professor Stefan Vladar. Julia's talent and hard work paid off when she won several prestigious awards and competitions. In 2008, she won first prize at the International Piano Competition "Citta di Barletta" in Italy. She also won first prize at the International Piano Competition "Citta di Cantu" in Italy in 2010. In addition to her competition wins, Julia has also performed at some of the world's most prestigious concert halls. She has performed at the Musikverein in Vienna, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Carnegie Hall in New York City. Her performances have been praised for their technical brilliance and emotional depth. One of Julia's most memorable performances was at the 2012 International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland. She was one of only 88 pianists selected to compete in the prestigious competition, which is held every five years. Julia's performance of Chopin's "Ballade No. 1 in G minor" was praised by the judges and earned her a place in the semi-finals. Julia's success as a classical music artist has also led to collaborations with other musicians and orchestras.
