He has collaborated with many renowned musicians and ensembles, including the Baltimore Consort, the Folger Consort, and the New York Collegium. He has also performed as a soloist with various orchestras, including the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. One of the highlights of Ng's career was his performance at the Boston Early Music Festival in 2003. He performed as a soloist in the festival's production of Handel's opera "Ariodante," which received critical acclaim. The Boston Globe praised Ng's performance, saying that he "played with a virtuosity and sensitivity that made the harpsichord sound like a living, breathing instrument." In addition to his performances, Ng is also a respected music educator. He has taught at various institutions, including the Peabody Institute and the University of California, Berkeley. He is currently a professor of music at the University of California, Irvine, where he teaches harpsichord and historical performance practice.
