From a young age, Ravelli showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. His parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue his passion for music. Ravelli's musical journey began when he enrolled in the Milan Conservatory at the age of ten. He studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and composer, Franco Margola. Ravelli's talent and dedication to music were evident from the beginning, and he quickly became one of the most promising students at the conservatory. After completing his studies at the Milan Conservatory, Ravelli continued his musical education at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome. He studied under the tutelage of legendary pianist and conductor, Carlo Maria Giulini. Ravelli's time in Rome was a turning point in his career, as he was exposed to a wider range of musical styles and techniques. In 1972, Ravelli made his debut as a solo pianist at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan. His performance was well-received by the audience and critics alike, and he quickly gained a reputation as one of the most talented pianists of his generation. Ravelli's performances were characterized by his technical proficiency, musical sensitivity, and emotional depth. Over the years, Ravelli performed at some of the most prestigious concert halls and music festivals around the world. He was a regular performer at the Salzburg Festival, the Edinburgh International Festival, and the BBC Proms.
