He then went on to study conducting at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where he was awarded the prestigious Sir Geraint Evans Award for his outstanding work as a conductor. Morris has since gone on to establish himself as one of the leading classical music artists of his generation. He has performed with some of the world's most renowned orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. He conducted a production of Handel's opera "Giulio Cesare," which was widely praised for its energy and vitality. He has also collaborated with some of the world's leading musicians, including the violinist Rachel Podger and the cellist Steven Isserlis.
