Julien Libeer was born in Brussels in 1987 and started playing the piano at the age of six. He studied at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and later at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, where he was mentored by pianists such as Maria João Pires and Abdel Rahman El Bacha. Libeer has also won several awards and competitions, including the International Piano Competition of Ettlingen and the Young Belgian Musician of the Year. Together, Gatto and Libeer form a dynamic and passionate duo that has captivated audiences around the world with their virtuosity and musicality. They have performed in prestigious venues such as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Philharmonie de Paris, and the Wigmore Hall in London.
