Pete Long is a renowned British jazz musician, composer, and arranger who has made a significant contribution to the world of classical music. Born on 20th August 1965 in London, Long grew up in a family of musicians, which played a significant role in shaping his musical career. Long's love for music began at an early age, and he started playing the clarinet when he was just nine years old. He was inspired by the music of Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, and other jazz legends of the time. Long's parents were also musicians, and they encouraged him to pursue his passion for music.
