Born on June 11, 1983, in Delaware, Ohio, Roe began playing the piano at the age of four and quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument. Roe's early musical education was shaped by her parents, who were both music educators. She began taking lessons with her mother, who instilled in her a love of classical music and a deep appreciation for the technical aspects of piano playing. As a child, Roe also participated in numerous piano competitions and festivals, winning several awards and accolades for her performances. After completing her undergraduate studies at the Juilliard School in New York City, Roe went on to earn a Master of Music degree from the Mannes College of Music. Over the years, Roe has performed with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. In addition to her work as a soloist, Roe is also an avid chamber musician and has collaborated with many renowned artists, including violinist Hilary Hahn and cellist Joshua Roman.
