Ellen Bottorff is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact in the world of music. Born on May 12, 1985, in Chicago, Illinois, Ellen grew up in a family of musicians. Her father was a pianist, and her mother was a violinist. From a young age, Ellen was exposed to classical music and developed a passion for it. Ellen began her musical journey by learning to play the piano at the age of five. She showed exceptional talent and quickly progressed to more advanced pieces. At the age of eight, Ellen started playing the violin, which became her primary instrument. She received her first violin from her mother, who had played it during her own childhood. Ellen's parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. They enrolled her in the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra, where she played the violin and gained valuable experience performing in front of large audiences. Ellen also took private lessons with renowned violinists, including Itzhak Perlman and Joshua Bell. After completing high school, Ellen attended the Juilliard School in New York City, where she studied under the tutelage of Dorothy DeLay. During her time at Juilliard, Ellen won several awards, including the prestigious Concerto Competition. She has taught at several music schools, including the Juilliard School and the Curtis Institute of Music.
