Born on May 12, 1985, in Lyon, France, Garioud showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. He quickly demonstrated a natural talent for the instrument and began taking lessons with renowned piano teachers in his hometown. As a young musician, Garioud was heavily influenced by the works of classical composers such as Chopin, Beethoven, and Mozart. He spent countless hours practicing and perfecting his technique, and by the time he was a teenager, he had already won several local and regional piano competitions. In 2003, Garioud was accepted into the prestigious Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where he studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and composer Michel Dalberto. During his time at the conservatory, Garioud honed his skills as a performer and composer, and he quickly gained a reputation as one of the most promising young musicians of his generation. After graduating from the conservatory in 2007, Garioud began performing extensively throughout Europe and Asia.
