Trio Boccherini is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 2003. The ensemble is named after the famous Italian composer Luigi Boccherini, who was known for his chamber music compositions. Trio Boccherini is made up of three main members: violinist Javier Montiel, cellist Luigi Piovano, and pianist Bruno Canino. Javier Montiel was born in Madrid, Spain, in 1975. He began playing the violin at the age of six and went on to study at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid. The three members of Trio Boccherini first met in 2002 and decided to form an ensemble together.
