Margaret Marco is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant contribution to the world of music. Born in 1965 in New York City, Margaret showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of five. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue music as a career. Margaret attended the Juilliard School of Music in New York City, where she studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and teacher, Vladimir Horowitz. She graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in 1987 and went on to pursue a Master of Music degree at the same institution. During her time at Juilliard, Margaret developed a passion for the oboe and began studying the instrument under the guidance of John Mack, the principal oboist of the Cleveland Orchestra. In 1995, she was awarded the National Endowment for the Arts Solo Recitalist Grant, which allowed her to perform a solo recital at Carnegie Hall.
