Christopher Taylor is a renowned classical pianist known for his virtuosic performances and innovative interpretations of classical repertoire. Born on September 22, 1974, in Boulder, Colorado, Taylor began playing the piano at the age of five and quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument. He went on to study at the New England Conservatory of Music and later earned his doctorate in piano performance from the Eastman School of Music. Throughout his career, Taylor has been recognized for his exceptional talent and has received numerous awards and accolades. In 1993, he won the prestigious Naumburg International Piano Competition, which launched his career as a soloist. He has also been a recipient of the Avery Fisher Career Grant, the Gilmore Young Artist Award, and the Paul A. Fish Memorial Prize.
