Mitzi Westra was born on May 12, 1985, in Amsterdam, Netherlands. She was born into a family of musicians, and her parents were both classical music performers. Her father was a renowned pianist, and her mother was a violinist. Mitzi grew up surrounded by music, and she started playing the piano at the age of four. Mitzi's parents recognized her talent early on, and they encouraged her to pursue a career in music. She started taking piano lessons with her father, and she quickly became a prodigy. Mitzi's talent was evident from a young age, and she started performing in public when she was only six years old. Mitzi's parents were her first teachers, but she also studied with some of the best piano teachers in the world.
