Tanya Dusevic is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact in the world of music. Born on May 12, 1985, in Belgrade, Serbia, Tanya showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue her passion for music. Tanya's early years were spent studying music at the Music School "Mokranjac" in Belgrade, where she received a solid foundation in classical music. She continued her studies at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance. During her studies, Tanya participated in numerous competitions and won several awards, including the first prize at the International Piano Competition in Belgrade. After completing her studies in Belgrade, Tanya moved to Vienna, Austria, to further her education. She enrolled in the University of Music and Performing Arts, where she studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and pedagogue Paul Badura-Skoda. Tanya's time in Vienna was a turning point in her career, as she was exposed to a new level of musical excellence and gained valuable experience performing in some of the most prestigious concert halls in Europe. Tanya's talent and hard work paid off when she won the first prize at the International Piano Competition in Vienna in 2010. This was a significant achievement for Tanya, as the competition was highly competitive and attracted some of the best pianists from around the world. Her success at the competition opened up new opportunities for her, and she began performing in concerts and recitals across Europe. One of Tanya's most memorable performances was at the Musikverein in Vienna, one of the most prestigious concert halls in the world. She performed Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5, also known as the "Emperor" concerto, with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra. The performance was a resounding success, and Tanya received a standing ovation from the audience. Tanya's talent and dedication to music have earned her numerous awards and accolades throughout her career. In 2012, she was awarded the prestigious "Young Musician of the Year" award by the Serbian Ministry of Culture.
