Premil Petrovic is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant contribution to the world of music. Born on 15th May 1985 in Belgrade, Serbia, Petrovic showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. His parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue his passion for music. Petrovic's musical journey began with his enrollment in the Music School "Mokranjac" in Belgrade, where he studied under the guidance of Professor Ljubica Stojanovic. He showed exceptional talent and dedication, and his hard work paid off when he won his first competition at the age of nine. This was the beginning of a long and illustrious career in music. Petrovic continued his studies at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, where he studied piano with Professor Ninoslav Zivkovic. He graduated with honors in 2008 and went on to pursue a Master's degree in piano performance at the same institution. During his studies, Petrovic participated in numerous competitions and won several awards, including the first prize at the International Piano Competition in Niš, Serbia, in 2006. After completing his Master's degree, Petrovic continued his studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne, Germany, where he studied under the guidance of Professor Pavel Gililov. He completed his studies in 2012 and received a diploma with honors. Petrovic's talent and dedication to music have earned him numerous accolades and awards throughout his career. In 2009, he won the first prize at the International Piano Competition in Rome, Italy, and in 2010, he won the first prize at the International Piano Competition in Enschede, Netherlands. He has also won awards at the International Piano Competitions in Belgrade, Serbia, and in Pinerolo, Italy. Petrovic has performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls around the world, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Konzerthaus Berlin, the Gewandhaus Leipzig, the Tonhalle Zurich, the Salle Cortot Paris, and the Carnegie Hall in New York. He has collaborated with renowned conductors such as Zubin Mehta, Daniel Barenboim, and Riccardo Chailly. One of the highlights of Petrovic's career was his performance at the Berlin Philharmonic in 2014, where he played Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5, "Emperor," with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Zubin Mehta. The performance was highly acclaimed by critics and audiences alike, and Petrovic received a standing ovation. Petrovic is also a dedicated teacher and has taught piano at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade and at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne. He has also given masterclasses in Serbia, Germany, Italy, and Switzerland. In addition to his performances and teaching, Petrovic is also a recording artist. He has recorded several albums, including a recording of Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5 with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, which was released in 2015.
