Timothy Sharp is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact in the world of music. Born on May 12, 1975, in Sydney, Australia, Sharp showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of five. His parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue his passion for music. Sharp's musical journey began when he joined the Sydney Children's Choir at the age of eight. He quickly rose through the ranks and became the choir's lead soloist. His exceptional talent and dedication to music earned him a scholarship to study at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. In 2005, Sharp founded the Australian Voices, a choir that has become one of the most renowned in the country. The choir has performed at some of the most prestigious music festivals in the world, including the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and the World Choral Symposium. Sharp's dedication to music and his exceptional talent have earned him numerous awards and accolades throughout his career. In 2010, he was awarded the Order of Australia Medal for his services to music. He has also been awarded the Australian Music Centre's Award for Vocal/Choral Work of the Year and the APRA Award for Best Classical Composition.
