From a young age, Wynder showed a natural talent for music and began taking piano lessons at the age of five. She later added the violin to her repertoire and began performing in local recitals and competitions. Wynder attended the Juilliard School in New York City, where she studied under renowned violinist Itzhak Perlman. During her time at Juilliard, Wynder won several awards and competitions, including the prestigious Juilliard Concerto Competition. She also had the opportunity to perform with the Juilliard Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic. After graduating from Juilliard, Wynder continued her studies at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. There, she studied under violinist Pamela Frank and continued to hone her skills as a performer and musician. Wynder's career as a professional musician began to take off in the early 2010s. She made her debut with the New York Philharmonic in 2011, performing the Brahms Violin Concerto under the baton of Alan Gilbert. The performance was met with critical acclaim, with The New York Times praising Wynder's "rich, warm tone and impeccable technique." In the years that followed, Wynder continued to perform with some of the world's most prestigious orchestras, including the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and the London Symphony Orchestra. She also began to establish herself as a soloist, performing recitals and concertos in venues around the world. One of Wynder's most notable performances came in 2015, when she performed the Sibelius Violin Concerto with the Berlin Philharmonic under the direction of Sir Simon Rattle. In 2016, she was awarded the Avery Fisher Career Grant, which is given to outstanding young musicians who show exceptional talent and promise. In addition to her work as a performer, Wynder is also a dedicated teacher and mentor. She has taught masterclasses at universities and conservatories around the world, and has served as a mentor to young musicians through programs such as the Sphinx Organization and the Juilliard School's Music Advancement Program.
