Alexandra Koreneva is a renowned classical music artist who has made a name for herself in the world of music. Born on December 12, 1985, in Moscow, Russia, Alexandra showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of five. Her parents, who were both musicians, recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Alexandra's musical education began at the Gnessin School of Music in Moscow, where she studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Tatiana Zelikman. She later went on to study at the Moscow State Conservatory, where she received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Piano Performance. During her time at the Moscow State Conservatory, Alexandra had the opportunity to work with some of the most distinguished musicians in the world, including Vladimir Tropp, Sergei Dorensky, and Alexei Nasedkin. She also participated in numerous masterclasses and competitions, where she won several awards and accolades. One of the highlights of Alexandra's early career was her performance at the International Tchaikovsky Competition in 2007. She was one of the youngest competitors in the competition and was praised for her technical skill and musicality. Although she did not win the competition, her performance was widely acclaimed, and she received numerous offers to perform at concerts and festivals around the world. In 2008, Alexandra moved to the United States to pursue further studies at the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. There, she studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Boris Slutsky, and received her Artist Diploma in Piano Performance. During her time at the Peabody Institute, Alexandra continued to perform at concerts and festivals around the world. She also won several awards and competitions, including the 2010 Yamaha Piano Competition and the 2011 Hilton Head International Piano Competition. One of the most significant highlights of Alexandra's career was her performance at the Carnegie Hall in New York City in 2012. She was invited to perform as part of the Rising Stars series, which showcases young and talented musicians from around the world. Her performance was widely acclaimed, and she received a standing ovation from the audience. Since then, Alexandra has continued to perform at concerts and festivals around the world, including the International Keyboard Institute and Festival in New York City, the Miami International Piano Festival, and the Festival Internacional de Piano de Monterrey in Mexico. In addition to her career as a performer, Alexandra is also a dedicated teacher and mentor. She has taught at several music schools and universities, including the Peabody Institute and the University of Maryland.
