Capella Leopoldina is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 2006 in Wrocław, Poland. The ensemble is named after Leopold I, Holy Roman Emperor, who was a patron of music and the arts during the Baroque period. The group is known for its performances of Baroque and Classical music, as well as its collaborations with other musicians and ensembles. The founding members of Capella Leopoldina were a group of young musicians who were studying at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław. The ensemble has also collaborated with other musicians and ensembles, including the Wrocław Philharmonic Orchestra, the Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra, and the Choir of the National Forum of Music in Wrocław. One of the highlights of Capella Leopoldina's career was its performance of Handel's Messiah at the National Forum of Music in Wrocław in 2016. The performance was highly acclaimed by critics and audiences alike, and it showcased the ensemble's skill and versatility. Another notable performance was the ensemble's collaboration with the Wrocław Philharmonic Orchestra in a performance of Mozart's Requiem in 2018.
