From a young age, Whiting showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Whiting's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He began taking piano lessons with his father and quickly developed a passion for classical music. By the age of ten, Whiting had already performed in several local concerts and had won several awards for his piano playing. Whiting continued to hone his skills as a pianist throughout his teenage years. After graduating from the academy, Whiting began performing professionally as a solo pianist. He quickly gained a reputation as one of the most talented young pianists in the world and was invited to perform at some of the most prestigious concert halls in Europe and the United States.
