From a young age, Kolozsvari showed a natural talent for music and began playing the violin at the age of four. Kolozsvari's parents recognized his potential and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He began taking lessons with renowned violin teachers in Romania and quickly gained recognition for his exceptional talent. At the age of 12, he won first prize in the National Violin Competition in Romania, which marked the beginning of his successful career as a classical musician. Kolozsvari continued to hone his skills and went on to study at the prestigious Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary. There, he studied under the guidance of renowned violinists such as Vilmos Szabadi and Eszter Perenyi. He has performed with the Budapest Symphony Orchestra, the Romanian National Radio Orchestra, the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra, and the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, among others. One of Kolozsvari's most notable performances was his debut at Carnegie Hall in New York City in 2010. He performed as a soloist with the New York Chamber Orchestra, receiving critical acclaim for his performance. The New York Times praised his "virtuosic playing" and "emotional depth." In addition to his solo performances, Kolozsvari is also an active chamber musician. He has performed with renowned musicians such as pianist Martha Argerich and cellist Mischa Maisky. He is a member of the Kolozsvari Quartet, which he founded in 2012 with his brother, cellist Istvan Kolozsvari, and two other musicians.
