Alessandro Dolci was born on May 12, 1985, in Milan, Italy. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned pianist and his mother a violinist. In 2012, Dolci was awarded the prestigious International Classical Music Award for his album "Beethoven: The Complete Piano Sonatas."
