The Cabrillo Music Festival Orchestra is a renowned classical music ensemble that has been captivating audiences for over half a century. Founded in 1963 by conductor and composer Dennis Russell Davies, the orchestra has become a fixture in the classical music world, known for its innovative programming and commitment to contemporary music. Davies, who served as the festival's music director for 25 years, established the Cabrillo Music Festival as a platform for new and experimental music.
