Mirjana Rajic is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact in the world of music. Born on May 5, 1985, in Belgrade, Serbia, Mirjana showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue her passion for music. Mirjana's musical journey began at the Music School "Mokranjac" in Belgrade, where she studied piano under the guidance of Professor Ljiljana Vukelja. She showed exceptional talent and dedication, and her hard work paid off when she won her first competition at the age of nine. This was just the beginning of her successful career in music. In 2003, Mirjana graduated from the Music School "Mokranjac" with honors and continued her studies at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade. She studied under the tutelage of Professor Ninoslav Živković, a renowned pianist and pedagogue. During her studies, Mirjana participated in numerous competitions and won several awards, including the first prize at the International Piano Competition "Petar Konjović" in Belgrade. After completing her studies at the Faculty of Music, Mirjana continued her education at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln in Germany. She studied under the guidance of Professor Pierre-Laurent Aimard, a world-renowned pianist and pedagogue. During her studies in Germany, Mirjana participated in several masterclasses and workshops with renowned pianists such as András Schiff, Mitsuko Uchida, and Alfred Brendel. Mirjana's talent and hard work paid off when she won several awards and prizes, including the first prize at the International Piano Competition "Città di Barletta" in Italy and the second prize at the International Piano Competition "José Iturbi" in Valencia, Spain. She also won the special prize for the best interpretation of a contemporary piece at the International Piano Competition "Cidade do Fundão" in Portugal. Mirjana's performances have been praised by audiences and critics alike. She has performed in numerous concerts and recitals in Serbia, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and other countries. Some of her notable performances include her debut recital at the Konzerthaus Berlin, where she performed works by Beethoven, Schumann, and Prokofiev. She also performed at the International Piano Festival "Piano City Milano" in Italy, where she played works by Chopin, Debussy, and Ravel. Mirjana's repertoire includes works by classical and contemporary composers, and she is known for her interpretation of the works of Beethoven, Schumann, and Prokofiev. She is also passionate about contemporary music and has premiered several works by Serbian composers. In addition to her successful career as a pianist, Mirjana is also a dedicated teacher. She has taught piano at the Music School "Mokranjac" in Belgrade and the Music School "Stankovic" in Novi Sad.
