In 1960, Jack joined the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra as the principal trumpet player. He held this position for over 30 years and played in countless productions. Throughout his career, Jack also performed as a soloist and recorded several albums. He collaborated with some of the most renowned conductors and musicians of his time, including Leonard Bernstein, Zubin Mehta, and Luciano Pavarotti. Jack's recordings received critical acclaim and earned him several awards, including a Grammy Award for Best Classical Performance in 1977.
