Jean de Reszké was a renowned Polish-French tenor who was born on January 14, 1850, in Warsaw, Poland. He was born into a family of musicians, and his father, Jan Mieczysław Reszke, was a well-known violinist and conductor. Jean de Reszké began his musical training at a young age, studying piano and violin with his father. However, it was his exceptional singing voice that would eventually lead him to become one of the most celebrated tenors of his time. At the age of 18, Jean de Reszké made his professional debut as a baritone in Warsaw. He quickly gained recognition for his powerful voice and dynamic stage presence, and soon began performing in opera houses throughout Europe. In 1874, he made his debut as a tenor in Paris, and his career took off from there.
