Markéta Kühnová is a Czech classical music artist who has made a name for herself as a talented pianist and chamber musician. Born on May 22, 1989, in Prague, Czech Republic, Kühnová showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. She quickly demonstrated a natural talent for the instrument and began taking lessons with renowned Czech pianist and pedagogue, Ivan Klánský. Under Klánský's tutelage, Kühnová developed a deep understanding of the piano and its repertoire. She also honed her skills as a chamber musician, performing with various ensembles and participating in masterclasses with some of the world's most renowned musicians. Kühnová's dedication and hard work paid off when she won several prestigious awards, including the first prize at the International Piano Competition in Brno in 2006 and the second prize at the International Piano Competition in Prague in 2008.
