Taro Takagi was born on January 15, 1975, in Tokyo, Japan. He was born into a family of musicians, and his parents were both professional classical musicians. His father was a violinist, and his mother was a pianist. Taro grew up surrounded by music, and he began playing the violin at a very young age.
