Amir Katz, the pianist, was born in Israel and began playing the piano at the age of six. He studied at the Rubin Academy of Music at Tel Aviv University and later at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover in Germany. The Wolpe Trio has performed in many prestigious venues around the world, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Konzerthaus Berlin, the Wigmore Hall in London, and the Carnegie Hall in New York. They have also performed at many international music festivals, such as the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, the Jerusalem International Chamber Music Festival, and the Festival de Música de Canarias. One of the highlights of the Wolpe Trio's career was their performance at the 2015 Jerusalem International Chamber Music Festival.
