Born on August 22, 1989, in Kiev, Ukraine, Vernigora showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. He was quickly recognized as a prodigious talent and began studying with renowned Ukrainian pianist and teacher, Valery Kozlov. Under Kozlov's guidance, Vernigora developed a deep understanding of the classical repertoire and honed his technical skills. He made his debut performance at the age of nine, playing Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 20 with the Kiev Symphony Orchestra. This performance marked the beginning of Vernigora's career as a concert pianist. Throughout his teenage years, Vernigora continued to perform in concerts and competitions, winning numerous awards and accolades. In 2005, he won first prize at the International Piano Competition in San Marino, Italy, and in 2007, he was awarded the Grand Prix at the International Piano Competition in Kiev. Vernigora's talent and dedication to his craft led him to pursue further studies at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine, where he studied with renowned pianist and teacher, Natalia Tolpygo. During his time at the academy, Vernigora continued to perform in concerts and competitions, winning first prize at the International Piano Competition in Bucharest, Romania, in 2010. In 2011, Vernigora moved to the United States to further his studies at the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. There, he studied with renowned pianist and teacher, Boris Slutsky, and earned his Master of Music degree in Piano Performance in 2013. Since then, Vernigora has established himself as a prominent concert pianist, performing in major venues around the world. He has appeared as a soloist with numerous orchestras, including the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, and the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Ukraine. Vernigora's performances have been praised for their technical brilliance and emotional depth. He is known for his ability to bring out the nuances and subtleties of the music, creating a powerful and moving experience for his audiences. In addition to his performances, Vernigora is also a dedicated teacher, sharing his knowledge and passion for music with students around the world. He has taught at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine and the Peabody Institute, and has given masterclasses in the United States, Europe, and Asia.
