She was born into a family of musicians, with her father being a renowned pianist and her mother a violinist. From a young age, Maria showed a keen interest in music and began taking piano lessons at the age of four. As Maria grew older, her passion for music only intensified. She began to take an interest in classical music and started attending concerts and performances with her parents. It was during one of these concerts that Maria was introduced to the cello, and she immediately fell in love with the instrument. At the age of eight, Maria began taking cello lessons and quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument. Her parents recognized her potential and enrolled her in the prestigious Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi in Milan. Maria excelled in her studies and quickly became one of the top students in her class. In 2005, Maria was awarded a scholarship to attend the Juilliard School in New York City. This was a major turning point in her career, as it allowed her to study with some of the most renowned cello teachers in the world. Maria thrived in this environment and quickly established herself as one of the top young cellists in the world. Maria's talent did not go unnoticed, and she began to receive invitations to perform at major concerts and festivals around the world. In 2008, she made her debut at the Berlin Philharmonic, performing the Dvorak Cello Concerto to critical acclaim. This performance launched her career and established her as one of the most promising young cellists of her generation. Over the next few years, Maria continued to perform at major concerts and festivals around the world. She performed with some of the most renowned orchestras in the world, including the New York Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the Vienna Philharmonic. Her performances were always met with critical acclaim, and she quickly became known for her technical skill and emotional depth. In 2012, Maria was awarded the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant, which is given to outstanding young musicians who show exceptional talent and promise. This was a major honor for Maria, and it helped to further establish her as one of the top cellists in the world. In addition to her performances, Maria was also a dedicated teacher. She taught master classes at some of the top music schools in the world, including the Juilliard School and the Royal Academy of Music in London. Her students always spoke highly of her, praising her for her dedication and passion for music. Tragically, Maria's career was cut short when she was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in 2015. Despite her illness, she continued to perform and teach, refusing to let her illness define her. She passed away on June 15, 2016, at the age of 26. Maria Isabella de Carli was a truly exceptional musician who left an indelible mark on the world of classical music. Her talent, dedication, and passion for music inspired countless people around the world, and her legacy will continue to live on for generations to come.More....
