Her father was a renowned pianist, and her mother was a violinist. Edna grew up surrounded by music, and she began playing the piano at the age of four. Edna's parents recognized her talent early on, and they encouraged her to pursue a career in music. She began taking piano lessons with her father, and she quickly developed a passion for the instrument. By the age of ten, Edna was already performing in public, and she was winning competitions. In 1997, Edna was accepted into the prestigious Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi in Milan. In 2005, Edna was awarded the prestigious Premio Venezia, which is given to the top young pianist in Italy. Edna's career as a professional pianist began in earnest in 2006, when she was invited to perform at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan. She performed Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5, and her performance was met with critical acclaim. This performance launched Edna's career, and she began to receive invitations to perform all over the world. Over the next few years, Edna performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Musikverein in Vienna. She also performed with some of the top orchestras in the world, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the New York Philharmonic. In 2010, Edna was awarded the prestigious International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow. Edna's performance of Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 was hailed as one of the greatest performances in the history of the competition, and she was awarded the top prize.
