Sang-Hie Lee is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant contribution to the world of music. She was born in Seoul, South Korea, in 1953, and began playing the piano at the age of four. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue music as a career. Lee's early years were spent studying music in South Korea, where she won several competitions and awards. She then moved to the United States to continue her studies at the Juilliard School in New York City. There, she studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and teacher, Rosina Lhevinne. In 1975, she won the prestigious Young Concert Artists International Auditions, which launched her career as a concert pianist. She has also performed in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and the Royal Albert Hall. One of Lee's most notable performances was her debut with the New York Philharmonic in 1977, where she performed Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3.
