The Malmö Symphony Chorus is a renowned classical music ensemble based in Malmö, Sweden. The choir was founded in 1935 and has since become one of the most respected choral groups in Scandinavia. In 2011, the choir appointed its current conductor, Dan-Olof Stenlund. Stenlund is a highly respected choral conductor who has worked with numerous choirs and orchestras throughout Europe. Under Stenlund's leadership, the Malmö Symphony Chorus has continued to perform at the highest level and has expanded its repertoire to include more contemporary works. Today, the Malmö Symphony Chorus is a vital part of the Swedish classical music scene.
