Da-Hong Seetoo is a renowned classical music artist who has made significant contributions to the world of music as a violinist, conductor, and recording engineer. Born in Taiwan in 1954, Seetoo showed an early interest in music and began playing the violin at the age of six. He later moved to the United States to pursue his musical education and career. Seetoo's musical education began at the Juilliard School in New York City, where he studied with renowned violinist Ivan Galamian. He later continued his studies at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, where he studied with Jascha Brodsky. In 1999, he was awarded the Grammy Award for Best Engineered Album, Classical, for his work on the recording of Mahler's Symphony No. 2.
