Rolf Björling grew up in a musical family, and his father David Björling was a well-known singer and conductor in Sweden. Rolf Björling began his musical training at a young age, and he studied at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. He made his debut as a tenor in 1931, and he quickly gained recognition for his powerful voice and expressive performances. He performed in many operas and concerts throughout Sweden, and he also toured in Europe and the United States. One of the highlights of Rolf Björling's career was his performance in the opera "La Bohème" by Giacomo Puccini. He played the role of Rodolfo, and his performance was praised for its emotional depth and musicality. He also performed in other operas by Puccini, including "Tosca" and "Madama Butterfly."
